A Kingston-based Registered Dietitian, Theresa Schneider has hiked in the Canadian Rockies and the Himalayas and participated in rowing marathons. She has rowed the Head of the Charles in Boston, Head of the Trent in Peterborough and annually participates in the ‘Run for the Cure’. Schneider is a specialist in medical nutrition therapy and sports nutrition. She has practiced in Ontario and Saskatchewan and with First Nations Canadians in Northern Ontario. Her experience has included everything from critical care trauma nutrition to community health projects and work with athletes from nearly every sport. 
Registered Dietitian/Sports Nutritionist/Health Services Consultant Theresa Schneider received a Bachelors of Applied Science Degree in Human Nutrition, from the University of Guelph. She completed her internship at Toronto General Hospital. In 1992, she received her Masters of Public Health from the University of Minnesota. She is a member the College of Dietitians of Ontario, The Canadian Diabetes Association (Diabetes Educator Section), the Dietitians of Canada and is an official service provider for the Coaching Association of Canada and the Canadian Sport Centre Ontario.
Theresa`s nutrition experience includes: team sports nutrition, interim university lecturer, health services consultant, and diabetes educator. She has worked with high performance athletes and provided programming and lectures for business administration programs and sports teams.
